Kerry served as a Marine for over 20 years (now retired). Primarily a Military Policeman, he trained young men and women to become Marine Officers – a process reserved for the “Few and the Proud,” lead units from small teams to large police departments, and is a combat veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Having learned of CrossFit from his sons, in the Fall of 2007 his wife Lisa attended a CrossFit Level I certification weekend and began to CrossFit at the gym or at times in our garage. Coming along side his wife Lisa as she opened CrossFit Spotsy in Spring of 2008, he has been her “Not-so-Silent” partner through the adventure. Kerry became a CrossFit coach in 2009 with a number of specialty certifications under his belt. His long time staple of running, pull-ups and sit-ups (Marine Fitness Test); Kerry now enjoys training and coaching athletes at CrossFit Sposty but thrives on leading Adventures with everyone that comes along for the ride.
